Ming-Tsun Chen, M.D.
Chairman

Ming-Tsun Chen serves as Chairman of TaiMed Biologics, bringing senior leadership experience across healthcare, medicine and corporate management. He trained in medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University and has held leadership roles within Taiwan’s healthcare sector, including serving as CEO of the Healthcare Division of RunTai Group.

Chin-Ming "Jimmy" Chang, Ph.D. Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Chin-Ming “Jimmy” Chang serves as Chief Executive Officer of TaiMed Biologics, where he leads the company’s global strategy, research and development, commercial operations and business development. Under his leadership, TaiMed is advancing its HIV franchise, including Trogarzo® (ibalizumab) and the investigational TMB-365/380 long-acting antibody combination, while expanding its CD4-targeting platform into additional therapeutic applications.
Dr. Chang brings more than 30 years of global pharmaceutical industry experience, including leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Company and Allergan. His career has spanned pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, business development and commercialization. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin and his B.S. in Pharmacy from National Taiwan University.


JR Chen, Ph.D.Vice President, Zhubei Site Head

​​​​​​Dr. JR Chen serves as Vice President and Zhubei Site Head at TaiMed Biologics, bringing more than 25 years of experience across biopharmaceutical research, vaccine development, manufacturing and operations. Prior to joining TaiMed, he served as Chief Operating Officer of RH Biopharmaceuticals and held R&D leadership roles at Adimmune, where his work included vaccine development and scalable manufacturing technologies. Earlier in his career, Dr. Chen conducted research at Academia Sinica and Oregon Health & Science University. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from National Yang-Ming University.


Tzu-Kang Wang, M.V.M.Chief Strategy Officer

Tzu-Kang Wang serves as Chief Strategy Officer at TaiMed Biologics, supporting the company’s corporate strategy, investment priorities and long-term growth initiatives. He brings more than 30 years of financial experience together with a background spanning biotechnology investment, company building and scientific education. Prior to TaiMed, he served as Chief Executive Officer of a biotechnology venture capital organization and founded or held managing director roles at multiple startup companies. Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years as a biology lecturer at a medical college. Mr. Wang holds a Master of Veterinary Science from National Taiwan University.


Jing-Yi Huang, Ph.D.Senior Director, Drug Development

Dr. Jing-Yi Huang serves as Senior Director of Drug Development at TaiMed Biologics, where she leads programs spanning HIV functional cure research and autoimmune disease. She brings more than 20 years of academic and industry experience in protein science, immunology and translational drug development, with expertise spanning biomarker strategy, biologics engineering and discovery-to-IND development. Her background also includes work across autoimmune disease, oncology and HIV research. Dr. Huang trained at the Gladstone Institutes at the University of California, San Francisco, and earned her Ph.D. from National Taiwan University.


Ying-An Lai, M.S.Senior Director, Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs

Ying-An Lai serves as Senior Director of Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs at TaiMed Biologics, bringing extensive experience in global clinical development, clinical trial leadership and international regulatory strategy. Her work spans the planning and execution of clinical programs as well as global IND and BLA submissions, scientific publications and international medical congress presentations. During her tenure at TaiMed, she has contributed to the clinical and regulatory development of Trogarzo®, including U.S. regulatory submissions, and has held leadership responsibilities across the company’s TMB-365 and antibody-combination programs. Ms. Lai holds a Master of Science in Biology from Rutgers University.
