Dr. Jimmy Chang, CEO of TaiMed Biologics, commented, “Our recent international engagements have been highly productive. Not only did we showcase TaiMed’s differentiated CD4-targeting antibody technology platform at leading medical and scientific conferences, but we also gained a deeper understanding of the significant global demand for long-acting HIV maintenance therapies and potential functional cure approaches. The in-depth discussions with multinational pharmaceutical companies and research institutions have created further opportunities for overseas licensing and joint development. We will continue to translate our proprietary technology platform into long-term commercial value and advance our global development strategy.”
1. Engaging with Global Pharmaceutical Leaders and Leading Institutions to Explore Licensing and Collaboration Opportunities
As part of its efforts to advance its international strategy, TaiMed’s team held high-level discussions with clinical development and business development teams from leading global pharmaceutical companies in the fields of infectious diseases and HIV, as well as institutions including the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The discussions focused on TaiMed’s patented CD4-targeting antibody technology platform and explored potential licensing arrangements, strategic partnerships, and joint R&D opportunities in two forward-looking areas: long-acting HIV maintenance therapy and HIV functional cure. International pharmaceutical companies and institutions expressed strong recognition of the differentiated advantages of TaiMed’s mechanisms of action. Relevant business and scientific discussions will continue to be advanced.
2. IDWeek 2026 Presentations Generate Strong Interest from the International Medical Community
TaiMed was invited to present clinical and laboratory data on its long-acting dual-antibody maintenance therapy, TMB-365/TMB-380, at IDWeek 2026 through an oral presentation and a poster presentation. The latest clinical findings demonstrated that TMB-365 has potent antiviral activity and a favorable safety profile, while its pharmacokinetic characteristics support the exploration of extended dosing intervals of once every 8 to 12 weeks (2 to 3 months). In addition, laboratory data demonstrating the complementary mechanisms of the two antibodies suggest that the combination may help address the limitations associated with resistance to a single agent.
These research findings generated active discussions and positive feedback from leading medical experts, researchers, and industry representatives attending IDWeek, highlighting TaiMed’s international presence in the development of long-acting antibody therapies for HIV.
3. International Media Interviews Spotlight TaiMed, Enhancing Corporate Reputation and Platform Visibility
During the conferences and institutional visits, TaiMed’s management team was invited to participate in interviews with several prominent international biotechnology and pharmaceutical media outlets. The interviews provided an opportunity to introduce TaiMed’s innovative CD4-targeting platform, share updates on the ongoing Phase 2b clinical trial of TMB-365/TMB-380, and outline the Company’s future global commercialization strategy.
The resulting media coverage has attracted broader attention from the international biotechnology investment and R&D communities, further enhancing TaiMed’s global visibility and corporate profile.
Looking Ahead
TaiMed is currently advancing the Phase 2b clinical trial of its TMB-365/TMB-380 dual-antibody combination therapy, with key interim results expected by the end of 2026. Looking ahead, the Company will continue to follow up on potential collaboration opportunities arising from these recent international engagements, deepen its communications with global pharmaceutical companies and research institutions, and accelerate the global commercialization of its innovative product candidates and proprietary antibody platform.
